Lisa Cavallaro is a lifelong advocate for emotional intelligence, compassionate leadership, and human connection. Her diverse career bridges entrepreneurship, mental health, coaching, and writing — all unified by a passion for helping people better understand themselves and one another.

Lisa began her professional journey as co-founder and co-owner of Cavallaro Specialty Foods, a regional distribution company serving the specialty foods industry. After years of business leadership, she shifted her focus toward human behavior and systems dynamics, becoming a Family Therapist and later a Master Certified Coach. Through her private practice and online coaching programs, Lisa has supported clients worldwide in areas ranging from personal growth and executive performance to parenting, relationships, and wellness.

Her background in both business and behavioral science later led her to become co-founder and editor of THRiVEcny Magazine, a Central New York publication dedicated to health, wellness, and community inspiration. The magazine reached more than 10,000 readers monthly in print and online, amplifying stories of resilience, wellbeing, and positive change across the region.

Lisa is also the author of three books, including No More Drama: How to Make Peace with Your Defiant Kid; ADHD the Natural Way: Thinking Outside the Pillbox; and The Mean Page: Viral. Anonymous. Cruel. And Closer Than You Think… a young adult novella exploring conscience, empathy, and the emotional impact of online cruelty.

She is the founder of BullySpin, an educational initiative that reframes bullying through understanding, emotional awareness, and compassion, helping both youth and adults recognize that hurtful behavior reflects the struggles of the bully rather than the worth of the target.

Through her work as an entrepreneur, therapist, writer, and advocate, Lisa continues to guide individuals and communities toward greater awareness, resilience, kindness, and connection.

Lisa also serves on the boards of the Solvay-Geddes Community Youth Center and the Jupiter Country Club WGA.
