Recipient of the 2025 Long Island Recovery Association Friend of Recovery Award and the 2024 NYS Justice Peer Initiative Impact Award in Training & Development among other industry and community honors, Ruth Riddick is an experiential trainer offering original coaching and communications programs since 1997. Her specialization in addiction recovery at Sobriety Together Training dates from 2004. She serves on the Advisory Board of the International Association of Recovery Coach Professionals (IARCP).

• Embodying Recovery-The Stages of Recovery model (introduced 2025). This immersive program draws on creative embodied methods to move participants from a triage focus to a personal vision of recovery across a lifetime. Offered per custom requirements. • Coaching is Conversation (introduced 2023). 10-hour program explores the theory and practice of conversation – purpose, structure, language, outcome. Multiple CEs available.
• Becoming a Recovery Coach (introduced 2020). 60-hour role training program developed to build interpersonal communication skills through foundational recovery coaching (CARC) and peer specialist (CRPA) credentialing preparation. Approved by NYCB.
Ruth is certified in sociometry (RTR-S), a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), and a member of the NYCB Trainer Registry, which she co-founded in 2020. She is a credentialing expert, having developed and promoted several professional certifications in a long-term NYCB consultancy.
She serves on the Board of the New York Association of Treatment Court Professionals.
